Secular Humanism is a philosophical, ethical and life stance that emphasizes the importance of humans, their values, and their concerns in this world. It promotes living an ethical, moral, and fulfilling life without any religious or supernatural beliefs. Secular humanists believe that morality can be derived from human experiences, reason, empathy, and a sense of responsibility towards others. They advocate for the separation of church and state, equal rights and treatment for all individuals regardless of their beliefs, and promote scientific inquiry to better understand the world around us. Secular Humanism is often seen as an alternative to religious belief systems, but it does not reject religion entirely; rather, secular humanists may choose to follow a non-theistic or atheist path in life.
